The length of the OHL is 190 km. The project involves the installation of 495 towers under foundations, 495 power transmission towers, phase wire, and ground wire (OPGW).
The project purpose was to increasing the reliability of the operating modes of the southern part of the United Power Systems of Ukraine by lifting network capacity restrictions Zaporizhzhya NPP. Also to increase the capacity of the crossings of the southern part of the United Power Systams of Ukraine by strengthening the connection of the Kakhovka power unit with the main networks of the United Power Systams of Ukraine.
